Final month, Miley Cyrus introduced her new album, Something Beautiful, and, quickly after, launched the opening tune, “Prelude,” and the title track. That first tune, “Prelude,” was co-written by Model/Actriz frontman Cole Haden. In a brand new assertion to Pitchfork, Haden mirrored on his expertise working with Cyrus. He shared:
When Miley requested me to put in writing poetry for One thing Stunning, we had already identified one another for a while—each as mates and admirers of one another’s work. Early within the technique of creating the album, she invited me over for a kiki to play me demos and share her imaginative and prescient for the challenge. The album I heard then, albeit unfinished, already had an identification that felt full.
