Actress and performer Nora Fatehi was involved in a serious car accident on her way to the Sunburn Festival, after a drunk driver rammed into her vehicle. The incident left the actor with a slight concussion, swelling, and minor injuries, prompting immediate medical attention. Despite the scare, Nora chose to honour her professional commitments and went ahead with her scheduled appearance at Sunburn 2025 alongside DJ David Guetta.
According to a source close to the development, Nora was rushed to the nearest hospital following the collision. Doctors conducted a CT scan to rule out any internal bleeding or haemorrhagic injury and later confirmed that she had sustained a mild concussion due to the impact.
Although she was advised to rest, the actor insisted on returning to work. “Despite medical advice to rest, Nora was determined to fulfil her commitments and perform at Sunburn” the source revealed.
Later, Nora addressed the incident herself through a video on her Instagram Stories, reassuring fans about her condition. “I am okay. I was in a really serious car accident this afternoon. A drunk person smashed into my car, and the impact was severe. I was flung across the car and hit my head on the window,” she said, adding that she was grateful to be alive.
The actor admitted that the experience was terrifying and emotionally unsettling. “I’m alive and well, apart from some minor injuries, swelling, and a slight concussion. I’m not going to lie, it was a very scary and traumatic moment. I’m slightly still traumatised,” she shared.
Nora also used the moment to strongly condemn drunk driving, stressing the importance of road safety. She reiterated that driving under the influence is unacceptable and endangers innocent lives, calling it shocking that such incidents still occur in 2025.
Explaining her decision to perform despite the accident, Nora said her dedication to her work drove her choice. “I don’t let anything get in the way of my ambition. I worked too hard to reach these milestones,” she said, while once again urging people to never drink and drive.
