N’s Zekrom Leaked For Pokémon TCG: MEGA Dream ex Expansion

A new Pokémon Trading Card Game leak has emerged, showing a fan-favorite feature, and players and collectors alike are thrilled about what it could mean for the future. The game has just had its new Japanese expansion, MEGA Dream ex, confirmed. There has already been a fantastic Pokémon TCG: MEGA Dream ex card revealed that most fans will hunt down once it’s adapted for Western markets.

Now, a new card from the upcoming set has been leaked, according to PokéBeach. As seen in the report, N’s Zekrom will be released as part of the upcoming MEGA Dream ex expansion in Japan. According to the outlet, this expansion will be adapted into a special set for release in January 2026 in Western markets, though it does not yet have an official name.

The New Card Could Be Powerful

Though the leak features an image of the card with very low resolution, it’s possible to make out N standing in front of his Zekrom in what appears to be an Illustration Rare version of the card – or, in Japan, Secret Rare. N’s Zekrom will have 130 HP and will have two different attacks. The first seems to cost 3 Colorless Energy for 70 damage, while the second costs 1 Fire, 2 Lightning, and 1 Colorless for 350 damage.

According to PokéBeach, this is but one of the Owner’s Pokémon cards that will be added to the game, as a complement to some that did not appear in the Journey Together or the Pokémon TCG: Destined Rival set. N’s Zekrom seems like an extension of N’s Reshiram, released in the Journey Together set. The outlet also reports that N’s Zekrom will be released as both a regular and an Illustration Rare card, even though the leak only highlights the Illustration Rare version.

Because of the Night Joker move featured in the N’s Zoroark card from the Journey Together set, N’s Zekrom could be of great value. This is because N’s Zoroark can use any move from any Benched Pokémon for 2 Dark Energy. If N’s Zekrom’s second move deals 350 damage, N’s Zoroark in Pokémon TCG could quickly and cost-effectively wipe out opponents.
