Olivia Rodrigo closed out the ultimate day of Glastonbury on Sunday with a headlining set that featured a shock look by The Remedy’s Robert Smith.
Introducing Smith as “the best songwriter to come back out of England,” Rodrigo welcomed the frontman to hitch her for performances of The Remedy’s traditional songs “Friday I’m in Love” and “Simply Like Heaven.”
Final month, Rodrigo brought out David Byrne for “Burning Down the Home” throughout her headlining set at New York’s Governors Ball. She has a number of extra competition appearances on the docket this summer time, together with Lollapalooza in Chicago and Osheaga in Montreal.
