    Pixies alum Paz Lenchantin has introduced her debut solo album. Triste was combined by Chris Coady and options contributions from drummer Josh Freese and guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, with whom Lenchantin beforehand performed in A Perfect Circle. It’s out October 17 by way of her personal imprint, Hideous Human Data. Watch the self-directed video for lead single “Grasp Robust” under.

    Lechantin sang and performed bass in Pixies from 2014 to 2024, filling the role initially occupied by Kim Deal. Along with touring with the band, she labored on the albums Head Carrier, Beneath the Eyrie, and Doggerel. “I needed to make this report alone,” Lenchantin shared of Triste in a press assertion, “to not show something, however simply to have religion that music can nurture me again. And it did.”
