Bauhaus legend Peter Murphy has teamed up with Tool bassist Justin Chancellor on the brand new tune “The Artroom Marvel.” The tune is the most recent single from Murphy’s upcoming album, Silver Shade, which is about to reach on Could ninth.

“’The Artroom Marvel’ is an echo from my fourth 12 months at senior faculty,” said Murphy in regards to the single. “[Former Bauhaus bandmate] Daniel Ash and I are listening to the mysterious sixth-year cool intelligentsia which have gathered within the artroom. We have now dared to enter their conclave, and the music coming from it was intriguing. We uncover that the tune being performed is ‘The Bewlay Brothers,’ very smart, mystical and sensual, with the singer’s voice as seductive as anybody I’d ever heard.”

He added, “[‘The Artroom Wonder’] has a surreal method, telling the story in my typical indirect fashion, together with the outline of a lowdown that leads into an evocation of the perfected human being, the Prophet Muhammad (might peace be upon him). The ultimate verse celebrates my very own self-advancing and place on this.”
