Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan visited Visakhapatnam’s Indira Gandhi Zoological Park on Thursday. His visit to the zoo was part of an official review, during which he inaugurated new elephant and bear enclosures, apart from feeding the animals. On the occasion of his mother Anjana Devi’s birthday, Pawan adopted two giraffes in her name.
Pawan stated that he would personally bear all the expenses for the giraffes for one year. Netizens and fans have been appreciating his thoughtful gesture. He also toured the hippopotamus, black bear, tiger, and lion enclosures, and enquired about animal care practices with zoo officials. The OG star further appealed to organisations to support wildlife conservation efforts.
An interesting moment unfolded in the butterfly garden when a butterfly fluttered close and landed on his forehead and hand, prompting Pawan to playfully navigate through. Pictures and videos from the visit have since emerged on social media, with fans celebrating nature’s admiration for the politician-actor.
