The shooting of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi has been progressing briskly. After a brief pause in the shooting, the makers of the sports drama resumed work from Saturday. According to sources, Ram Charan participated in the shooting that is presently taking place near the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

    Shoot delayed by three hours

Although the shooting of Ram Charan-starrer Peddi was supposed to kick off early in the day, it was delayed by three hours due to fog. The shooting began around 12 PM. A few pictures of actor Ram Charan from Peddi sets have emerged and have been doing the rounds. Fans have shared a few photos of the actor who is seen walking on the streets in chilly winter in the country’s capital. Charan sports a rugged look with long hair and bushy beard…holding a cloth bag. In one of the pictures, he is standing behind a Delhi Police barricade. Another photo shows Charan checking himself in front of the camera…perhaps he’s making sure to get right the camera angles and expressions.

    Peddi shoot postponed

The filmmakers were scheduled to shoot the sequences in Delhi last month, but it was postponed due to a bomb blast. Director Buchi Babu Sana had to reschedule the Delhi schedule for now. Except for a song and climax sequence, Peddi is almost done. With the release deadline being March 27, 2026 the makers believe they have enough time at their disposal to complete the remaining portion of shooting. Since the film is gearing up for a Pan-India release, Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor to participate extensively in the promotions. Peddi follows the story of a spirited villager (Ram Charan) in 1980s Andhra Pradesh who unites communities through sports to wither a powerful rival. The film also focuses on themes of village pride, unity, and underdog spirit, inspired by real-life stories.
