Prime Video has officially revealed the first details for a new sci-fi series from the creator of a masterpiece Star Trek show. The resurgence of Star Trek in recent years has resulted in a plethora of new shows in the sci-fi franchise, from the finished Star Trek: Discovery to the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy on Paramount+.
Now, Deadline has confirmed Mike McMahan, creator of animated comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks, is co-creating and executive producing a new adult animated series for Prime Video, alongside Solar Opposites producer Dominic Dierkes. The pair will be teaming up to create Odd Jobs, a sci-fi comedy that Prime Video has already given a series order.
