At that time, it was a common practice to have other artists dub for newcomers if their voices were considered unconventional, but Karan saw the uniqueness in Rani’s husky tone and stood by it.
Rani shared, as she got emotional, “Karan believed in my voice,” recalling how that faith and confidence changed the trajectory of her career.
