Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is rewriting box office expectations with a powerful second-day surge. After a robust opening, the Ranveer Singh–led spy thriller collected Rs 33.10 crore on Saturday, registering significant growth driven by strong audience word-of-mouth. With this, the film’s two-day India net total stands at an impressive Rs 61.70 crore, putting it on a solid path toward emerging as one of Ranveer Singh’s biggest commercial successes in recent years.
The film’s Saturday earnings mark a 15–22% jump over its opening day across domestic tracking sources, signalling sustained momentum. Exhibitors in several cities have added shows to meet the rising demand, especially with night-show occupancy crossing 60% nationwide. With no major Bollywood release arriving before Christmas, Dhurandhar enjoys a largely open field.
The performance has also resulted in five major records for the team. Ranveer Singh has now logged the highest single-day collection of his career, surpassing Padmaavat’s Day 2 figure. For director Aditya Dhar, the film delivers his biggest-ever single day, beating the peak numbers of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The action drama has also registered the third-highest Saturday of 2025 and has already become Ranveer’s third-highest post-pandemic grosser in just 48 hours, racing past Cirkus and Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Additionally, it has broken into the top 10 opening weekends of 2025 even before Sunday numbers arrive.
Internationally, Dhurandhar continues to surprise, adding nearly $1 million on Saturday and pushing its global tally to ₹88 crore. The film is now poised to cross the ₹100 crore worldwide mark on Sunday.
Mounted on a reported Rs 250-crore budget, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as an undercover Indian operative navigating the dangerous alleys of Lyari. The ensemble includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan.
With its commercial success and positive buzz, the film now eyes the Rs 150-crore global milestone by the end of its first weekend.
