It is positioned as more than just a cinematic release. Moreover, Love in Vietnam emerged as a symbol of cultural diplomacy, using storytelling as a bridge between two rich traditions of cinema.
At the premiere, Shantanu shared, “After getting a fabulous response in Korea, it’s a heartwarming moment to see the audience of Vietnam love our work. Love In Vietnam has officially released in its origin a few days ago, and we are only being flooded with love from the audience there who have taken to the film very well. Having a major connect with the locations we shot at , and Vietnamese artists like KhaNgan present in the film as well, was a major factor in them building a stronger connect with it. Many from the audience were emotional throughout whilst watching the love story bit , and that itself proved that we have done it just right.”

The film has been shot extensively across Vietnam. It has captured the country’s scenic diversity through locations such as Furama Resort in Da Nang, the picturesque Ba Na Hills, the untouched beauty of Phu Quoc and the tranquil landscapes of Samten Hills in Da Lat.
