The award was introduced by the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri C.V. Ananda Bose, throughout a grand ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata. This esteemed recognition celebrates Kher’s distinctive expertise, dedication, and impactful journey on this planet of movies.
Reacting to it, the actor stated, “Receiving the ‘Governor’s Award of Excellence’ is an unbelievable privilege. I’m deeply grateful to the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal, Shri C.V. Ananda Bose, for this recognition, which evokes me to proceed exploring significant tales and pushing boundaries as an artist. Cinema isn’t just a career for me; it’s a medium by means of which we join, encourage, and evoke feelings.
