    Soundgarden Members Reunite for Seattle Benefit Show

    The three surviving members of Soundgarden reunited on Saturday evening (December 14th) to carry out on the SMooCH profit live performance to lift cash for Seattle Kids’s Hospital. Guitarist Kim Thayil, drummer Matt Cameron, and bassist Ben Shepherd had been fronted by singer Shaina Shepherd for the six-song set on the Showbox, with Duff McKagan becoming a member of in on a few tunes.

    The Soundgarden members’ efficiency was solely announced 10 days ago, as they joined a lineup that already included McKagan, Constructed to Spill’s Doug Martsch, and Sebadoh (first present in 5 years). They had been billed as Nudedragons (an anagram of Soundgarden).

The Weapons N’ Roses bassist additionally caught round for the ultimate track of the set, a canopy of the MC5 traditional “Kick Out the Jams.”

    The final time all three surviving members of Soundgarden carried out collectively is once they made a shock look at Brandi Carlile’s live performance on the Gorge Amphitheatre in 2021, the place they performed “Black Gap Solar” and “Looking With My Good Eye Closed.”
