The legendary Stephen King is not any stranger to narrating audiobooks, however for the primary time, he is set to relate a guide that is not considered one of his personal. In an announcement launched on Thursday (through AP), HarperCollins and The Maurice Sendak Basis introduced that Stephen King could be narrating an audiobook retelling of “Hansel and Gretel” primarily based on the late Sendak’s illustrations created for the 1997 Humperdinck Opera.

Stated Nancy Inteli, vice chairman and writer of HarperCollins Youngsters’s Books: “Everybody at HarperCollins and The Maurice Sendak Basis shared the identical dream and imaginative and prescient to have Stephen King narrate the audiobook. Who wouldn’t need Stephen King studying them a fairy story?!”

“Stephen King’s studying of ‘Hansel and Gretel’ is charming and thrilling, bringing new depth to this basic story,” added Lynn Caponera, government director of The Maurice Sendak Basis.
