    Earlier this month, Tame Impala mastermind Kevin Parker shared a sequence of studio photographs on Instagram with the caption “Been busy😉.” Naturally, hypothesis grew that new Tame Impala music was imminent. Now, Parker has launched the primary new Tame Impala tune in years. The seven-minute “End of Summer” serves as Tame Impala’s Columbia Records debut, and it comes with a music video directed by Julian Klincewicz. Watch the largely split-screen video under.

    “Finish of Summer time” is the primary unaccompanied Tame Impala tune since 2023’s “Journey to the Real World,” which Parker made for Barbie. Parker has additionally made official remixes for 070 Shake, the Crowded House, and Justice. As a producer and songwriter, he labored closely on Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism.

    Earlier this yr, Parker won his first-ever Grammy Award. He and Justice took dwelling Best Dance/Electronic Recording for “Neverender.”
