The Pitt season 2’s trailer has finally been released, revealing that a controversial ship fans of the series have been debating over is all but canon in the upcoming season. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball), who was bounced out by Robby on the stipulation he’d be heading to a rehab for his addiction to prescription pills, will be returning to PTMC during the new season.
Langdon, who spent the majority of the first season in an adversarial war with new intern, Dr. Trinity Santos (Isa Briones), appears to be hopeful that his return won’t have much fanfare attached. Unfortunately for him, it appears that one of his colleagues at PTMC is more excited about his return than viewers may have anticipated.
Langdon And Mel Have A Sweet Reunion Moment In The Trailer
For a moment in The Pitt season 2 trailer, it appears that the show is going lean into the relationship between Langdon and Dr. Mel King (Taylor Dearden). In the trailer, Mel is shown excited that Langdon has returned, reaching out to hug him before seemingly thinking better of it. While Langdon consistently appears to be struggling during the trailer, the moment with Mel raises questions.
