Among the many free-to-play options on Steam, there is one game that stands out with over 100 hours of gameplay, as well as a whopping 99% positive review score, in addition to not costing anything. You can find several free titles on the platform, though only a few boast such high praises from players. An example of this is Beat of Rebellion, which is considered by many to be a 10/10 game on Steam, and the best part is that you can play it for free.

Similarly, HoloCure – Save the Fans! is a fantastic free-to-play game available on Steam right now. Released in 2023, this unofficial fan-made game centered around the Vtubers from Hololive can be claimed for free via its page on Steam. When you do, HoloCure is added to your library permanently and can be downloaded whenever you want to play it. The game does not have heavy requirements and can be played on most PC systems.

A 100+ Hour Free Steam Game With 99% Positive Reviews

HoloCure Is Inspired By Vampire Survivors

HoloCure is a game that can offer you over 100 hours of gameplay for free. The action-based roguelite title is inspired by the remarkable Vampire Survivors, in which you must defeat a continuous onslaught of enemies and gradually improve your abilities based on randomized options. However, instead of controlling hunters of the undead, you’ll be in control of Vtubers from Hololive and face off against armies of varied enemies.

Moreover, the game also has a different type of upgrade system, where you can visit vendors, as well as access a home-building mechanic. There’s a lot to do in this game, and it is actually quite good. Based on its Steam page at the time of writing, HoloCure has an Overwhelmingly Positive status, with 99% of players having evaluated the title as positive – there are over 25 thousand reviews.

HoloCure Is A 2023 Classic You Can Play Now

The Game Is Completely Free, With No Microtransactions

This game has already established itself as a 2023 classic, given how well-received it was. If you’re looking for something that feels like Vampire Survivors but feels a bit gritty, Power Fantasy on Steam may be a better option. However, I do recommend not dismissing HoloCure because of its cutesy theme – even if it’s not as dark as the game it is inspired by, this is still a worthwhile game to check out, especially with it being completely free.

The gameplay options are very dense, and the title is very well-developed, mixing what you expect from a roguelite survival title, bullet hell games, and even life-sims. If the game does hook you, you’ll likely spend well over 100 hours on this game on Steam without spending as much as a penny.
