In his acceptance speech, Amrish Puri expressed his gratitude saying, “Women and gents, this can be a uncommon recognition, and I share it with all my co-actors, technicians, and most with my director, Priyadarshan, with out whose steering and creativeness to solid me within the position this would not have been doable. I’m grateful to Filmfare for giving me this honour.” His humility and respect for his colleagues have been evident as he acknowledged everybody who contributed to his success within the movie.
Sadly, Amrish Puri handed away in 2005, forsaking a legacy of unforgettable performances. His contribution to the movie business continues to encourage actors and filmmakers alike. Even years after his passing, his iconic roles, significantly as a villain or supporting character, stay etched within the hearts of followers.
