    Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio and Fort Romeau Reunite for New C.Y.M. Songs: Listen

    Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio and digital producer Michael Greene, higher often called Fort Romeau, have revived their C.Y.M. moniker for a brand new pair of singles. “Justify” and “Catania”—the latter of which options saxophone courtesy of Colin Killalea—mark the duo’s first music since releasing a self-titled EP in 2019. Take heed to each new tracks beneath.

    “‘Justify / Catania’ is the primary style of a journey that started in January 2020,” Baio and Greene shared in a press assertion. “This journey includes many locations (Los Angeles, London, Glasgow, Paris, and Lagos) and lots of extraordinarily gifted collaborators (we’ll be telling you all about them quickly). There’s a protracted street forward; for now, we hope you benefit from the starting of this experience.”

    Baio shared his newest solo album, Dead Hand Control, in 2021. He’ll perform with Vampire Weekend by means of the remainder of the summer time.
