    Watch Yaeji Turn Into a Bug in Video for New Song “Pondeggi”

    Yaeji has returned with the brand new track “Pondeggi,” that includes E Wata. The title is a nod to beondegi, the Korean road meals comprised of silkworms, and impressed its Andrew Thomas Huang–directed music video during which she transforms into that very bug. Via a sequence of hand claps—a reference to the schoolyard sport that influenced the monitor’s beat—with co-producer E Wata, Yaeji’s silkworm self tries to “save the metamorphosis cycle from being disrupted by a techno-witch,” performed by Uhm Jung-hwa.     Yaeji has been on a roll with new songs recently. She teamed up with Lady Discuss and T-Ache for the one “Believe in Ya” this previous January, and collaborated on the monitor “Pink Ponies” with Teddy Geiger in November. She additionally shared two different solo songs, “Booboo” and “Easy Breezy,” that arrived with their very own movies.
