Democrats on the Congressional House Oversight Committee have released a new batch of photos from the Jeffrey Epstein estate, including never-before-seen images of Woody Allen that suggest a closer relationship with the disgraced financier than Allen has let on.
Four of the 19 new photos show Allen. Two seem to have been snapped at Epstein’s New York estate, including one with longtime Trump advisor Steve Bannon. A candid shot shows Allen on the plane that some have dubbed the “Lolita Express,” and another shows Epstein on a film set, talking with the director while he appears to be shooting a movie. Last September Allen gave an interview to The Times where he suggested he had been to several dinner parties that Epstein had hosted over the years. According to Allen, his wife “Soon-Yi wanted to meet [Prince Andrew], so we went over for dinner.” The interview did not mention flights on the private jet or invitations to film sets. Allen called Epstein “charming and personable,” and added, “We never, ever, saw Jeffrey with underage girls. He always had a girlfriend but never an underage girlfriend.”

Allen’s name also appeared in a collection of birthday letters sent to Epstein in 2016. Allen compares Epstein to Bella Lugosi’s Dracula, writing about “three young female vampires who service the place… one can picture him sleeping in damp earth.”
Woody Allen’s relationship with Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of his former partner Mia Farrow, has been controversial, especially given their 21-year age difference. Allen has denied accusations of inappropriate behavior, maintaining that their relationship was consensual. He has also faced allegations of sexual abuse from his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, which he continues to deny. Although no criminal charges were filed, these allegations have cast a shadow over his personal and professional legacy.
