    WU LYF to Reunite for First Shows in 13 Years

    WU LYF are again. A month after frontperson Ellery James Roberts dissolved his Misplaced Beneath Heaven mission, the band that propelled him to indie-rock renown has introduced three reveals in its native Manchester, England, and competition dates in France and Belgium. No concrete particulars have been introduced, however followers on Reddit report receiving postcards that time to the website containing the dates. And immediately, an Instagram account attributed to the band’s L Y F Recordings label posted a number of teaser Tales and a photo carousel of billboards emblazoned with the slogan, “A brand new life is coming.”

    These might be WU LYF’s first reveals in 13 years, following the tour that accompanied their solely album thus far, Go Tell Fire to the Mountain. The band split in late 2012, with Roberts declaring in a prolonged assertion, “WU LYF is useless to me. The sincerity of ‘Go inform fireplace’ was misplaced within the bull shit of sustaining face on the planet we dwell. Clap your arms chimp everyone’s watching.”
