The Legend Of Zelda officially turns 40 in February 2026, and Nintendo plans to celebrate the last four decades in a big way. Fans are expecting Nintendo to finally give us Twilight Princess and Wind Waker on Switch 2, for starters, but we’re also celebrating Ocarina of Time with a gorgeous new LEGO set.
The new set was first teased with a brief video in 2025, and anyone who knows anything about Zelda could see what specific moment from the series’ history it was referencing. An older Link stands, Master Sword in hand, with Princess Zelda trapped on the other side of a wall of flame. We can’t see what Link is looking at, but he’s obviously about to face down some terrible monster. It is, of course, Link’s climatic battle with Ganon from Ocarina of Time.
The Legend Of Zelda LEGO Is Beautiful
The way of the hero leads to the LEGO
As obvious as it was already, it’s nice to know for sure. According to a new leak from the always reliable r/Legoleak, the latest set iofficially called ‘77093 The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time’. In other words, it is indeed a diorama of one of the most famous boss battles in video game history.
The new set will contain 1003 pieces, the brunt of which will make up Ganon’s monstrous form. There are also Zelda and Link minifigs, Navi the fairy, the Master Sword, and Megaton Hammer.
This gorgeous bit of kit is apparently launching March 1, 2026, so I would imagine an official announcement will be made soon. The set is also apparently going to be priced at $129.99, which is a damn sight more reasonable than some of the recent Pokémon LEGO sets. Take a look at the new set below.
LEGO Sure Is Getting Expensive
You may want to start saving
While this particular Zelda LEGO set isn’t as expensive as we might have thought, 2026 promises to be an expensive year for collectors. The long-awaited Pokémon X LEGO collaboration officially releases this year, but every single set combined will cost you no less than $910.
Below you can find each individual set, as well as how much they’ll cost:
- Kanto Starter Evolutions (Blastoise, Venusaur, Charizard) – $649.99 USD
- Pikachu & Poke Ball – $199.99 USD
- Eevee – $59.99 USD
- Kanto Region Badge Collection (free with purchase)
So let’s just be grateful The Legend of Zelda is celebrating its own anniversary with a much more reasonably priced set. However, if you love both Zelda and Pokémon, you may want to consider selling a kidney in 2026.
