Fourteen people were hospitalized during The Chainsmokers‘ concert in San Jose, California, on Friday night after emergency crews responded to a wave of medical calls at the outdoor show.

The San Jose Fire Department was called to Discovery Meadow around 8:22 p.m. on September 4th following calls stating that multiple attendees needed medical attention. As the number of patients grew, officials dispatched an ambulance task force, two advanced life support units, and a battalion chief to the venue. In total, 14 ambulances responded, and 14 people were transported to local hospitals.

Authorities have not disclosed the conditions of those hospitalized or stated that the medical incidents shared a single cause. San Jose police did, however, say some concertgoers were treated for “suspected alcohol intoxication and drug-related issues.” No arrests were reported in connection with the incidents.

Neither The Chainsmokers nor their representatives have publicly commented on the hospitalizations as of Sunday. The duo continued with their schedule the following day, performing at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas on September 5th. They are next slated to appear at Austin City Limits in October.
