Adam Wiltzie has introduced a reissue of Stars of the Lid’s first album, Music for Nitrous Oxide, to have a good time its thirtieth anniversary. The brand new version is out on July 25 by way of Wiltzie’s Synthetic Pinearch Manufacturing. Under, see a newly launched video for an edited model of the album’s “Adamord.”
The sound engineer Francesco Donadello did the remaster for Music for Nitrous Oxide. The brand new version marks the primary time the album will likely be out there on vinyl, because it was released originally on CD in 1995 (and likewise reissued on CD in 2008).
Music for Nitrous Oxide (30 12 months Anniversary Remastered) is the primary main Stars of the Lid launch since the death of co-founder Brian McBride in 2023. “Within the wake of dropping Brian nearly two years in the past,” Wiltzie defined, “I felt it was time to revisit and acknowledge this long-forgotten archive on the start of Stars of the Lid.”
