Primus have unveiled a brand new single titled “Little Lord Fentanyl” that includes Instrument singer Maynard James Keenan. The monitor marks Primus’ first new track in three years, and their first recording with new drummer John Hoffman.
The brand new tune comes within the midst of the “Sessanta V2.0” tour, that includes Primus and Keenan’s bands A Good Circle and Puscifer. The outing is scheduled via a June seventh present in Auburn, Washington, with last-minute tickets available here.
A press launch describes the brand new track “Little Lord Fentanyl” as a “twisted fable steeped in groove and darkish humor.” New drummer Hoffman presents playful rhythms alongside some funky bass taking part in by Primus frontman Les Claypool, who shares vocal duties with Keenan.

The monitor is Primus’ first track for the reason that launch of their 2022 Conspiranoid EP. Hoffman beat out greater than 6,000 drummers in an open audition to land the Primus gig, following the departure of longtime stickman Tim “Herb” Alexander.
