Mere days earlier than they launch Never Enough, their long-awaited fourth album, Turnstile visited The Tonight Present Starring Jimmy Fallon to debut two new songs from the report: “I Care” and “Uninteresting.” Surrounded by striped wallpaper, a pale pink carpet, and a framed picture of a rotary phone, the Baltimore experimental hardcore band performed the previous ’80s-sounding pop-rock tune whereas sporting retro over-the-ear headphones. To match the glitchy hardcore of the latter monitor, Turnstile had been doused in pink lighting whereas they jumped round onstage. Watch a replay under.

By no means Sufficient, the follow-up album to 2021’s smash success Glow On, comes out this Friday, June 6 through Roadrunner. It’s Turnstile’s first LP with new guitarist Meg Mills, following Brady Ebert’s departure in 2022, and first since they obtained Grammy nominations in each 2023 and 2024.

The music movies for Turnstile’s beforehand launched singles “Never Enough,” “Birds,” “Seein’ Stars,” and “Look Out for Me” are all a part of the upcoming companion movie Turnstile: Never Enough. That fifty-minute film, which was directed by singer Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory, consists of all 14 songs from the report and will probably be screened at film theaters across the nation.

Later tonight at New York Metropolis’s AG Studios, Turnstile will probably be in conversation with author Lawrence Burney about their new cover story on Pitchfork, which was printed as a limited-edition zine. They are going to talk about the interviews that went into the quilt story, the making of the zine, their new album By no means Sufficient, and extra. RSVP to the occasion here.
