Robert Pattinson shares his thoughts on The Batman Part II‘s new director.
Four years after Pattinson’s debut as the Caped Crusader, production finally began this year on the anticipated DC sequel, with Matt Reeves once again behind the camera as director. Earlier this month, however, it was confirmed that Reeves would be stepping away from production to deal with a family matter, with director Steven Soderbergh to step in to help Reeves complete principal photography.
Speaking with GamesRadar+, Pattinson expresses his gratitude that filmmaker Steven Soderbergh has stepped in to help Matt Reeves complete filming on the superhero sequel.
“I am so happy he’s come on to help Matt. It’s incredibly generous of him – and he’s doing it in the loveliest way. It’s completely selfless. I think Matt had put so much work into the script, and we’re almost done. So for someone to come in and say, ‘I just want to help Matt do it; I want to do it in conjunction with him and just get it to the edit.’ And to have someone who’s as talented as Steven doing it is great.”
More to come…
