Cass McCombs has introduced his first solo studio album in three years: Interior Live Oak is out August 15 through Domino. The singer-songwriter’s follow-up to 2022’s Heartmind options the brand new single “Peace.” Test it out under.
After a streak of data with the report label Anti-, McCombs returned to his longtime dwelling of Domino for Inside Stay Oak and reunited with previous collaborators from his catalog, like Matt Sweeney, Chris Cohen, and Papercuts’ Jason Quever. “Peace” is the second preview from the LP, too, following “Priestess.”
Final 12 months, McCombs surprise-released the album Seed Cake on Leap Year, a group of beforehand unreleased music that he recorded at Jason Quever’s residence in San Francisco from 1999 and 2000 whereas he was residing in Berkeley, California.
