Suraj Venjaramoodu has officially wrapped his portions for Dhanush’s upcoming film with director Vignesh Raja, best known for Por Thozhil. The Malayalam star shared a still featuring him alongside Dhanush and revealed through social media that his work on the project has concluded. He also expressed heartfelt appreciation for Dhanush, Vignesh Raja, cinematographer Theni Eswar and the entire team behind the film, which is currently referred to as D54.
The film marks the fifty fourth project of Dhanush’s career and is produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the Vels Film International banner. The cast includes Mamitha Baiju in the female lead, bringing her growing popularity into the Tamil mainstream. The ensemble also features Jayaram, KS Ravikumar, Prithvi Pandiarajan, Karunas and Nithin Sathya, making it one of the more diverse and intriguing line ups in recent commercial Tamil cinema.

While details about the plot and roles remain tightly guarded, the involvement of Vignesh Raja, who earned wide acclaim for his meticulous approach to thrillers in Por Thozhil, has created strong expectations. The technical crew also adds to the excitement. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music, reuniting with Dhanush for another potentially memorable soundtrack. Editor Sreejith Sarang, known for his sharp and rhythmic cutting style, is handling the edit, while Theni Eswar serves as the cinematographer, bringing his signature visual depth to the project.
