As of today, Bruno Mars only has three solo albums to his name, with the most recent of which being 2016’s smash hit 24K Magic. Well, about eight years later, the pop star says he’s finally done with his next album.

“My album is done,” he stated in a tweet. Can’t get much more straightforward than that; Brace for new Bruno Mars.

Of course, Mars hasn’t spent the several years since his last full-length release completely avoiding the spotlight. Notably, he linked up with Anderson .Paak to form Silk Sonic, subsequently dropping the well-received  An Evening with Silk Sonic in 2021. Other recent hits from Mars include his Lady Gaga collaboration “Die With a Smile,” his Rosé collaboration “APT.,” and his Sexxy Red collaboration “Fat Juicy & Wet.”

Mars also recently joined a bunch of other famous rockers — like Slash, Eddie Vedder, Anthony Kiedis, YUNGBLUD, and Brandi Carlile — for a wild corporate holiday party.
