Shruti in a reverting role
On the occasion of Shruti Haasan’s birthday on Wednesday, the makers of Aakasamlo Oka Tara have unveiled Shruti Haasan’s character poster from the film. Flaunting glasses, she is seen in a feisty and bold avatar – something that caught audiences by surprise. Apparently, Shruti has flagged off the script in her first narration. Speaking to Filmfare, the film’s director Pavan Sadineni says that he had handpicked the actress for the kind of performer she has been over the years. “It’s a reverting role, and I need someone who can pull it off with grace, elan and style. Shruti always fascinated the audiences with her panache and strong roles. We believe she’s apt for the part. When we narrated the story, she thoroughly enjoyed it and came on board,” said Pavan. The actress is presently shooting for the final portion of her part in the breezy entertainer.

According to the director, Shruti Haasan’s role has a lot of spunk. She plays a complex yet emotionally driven role powered by depth in her character arc. “Her layered yet strong-willed performance is one of the major highlights of the film,” shares Pavan. Going by her character look, fans on social media predict that her character communicates vulnerability and strength simultaneously. For someone who likes to break stereotype roles and likes to take on challenging roles, Shruti is set to deliver a commanding performance. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Aakasamlo Oka Tara also features Satvika Veeravalli in a significant part.
