Soccer Star ERLING HAALAND
bye bye luscious locks …
New Season, New Hairdo

Erling Haaland has unveiled a dramatic new look … buzzing off the long, blonde hair that became one of the most recognizable features of the Manchester City superstar.
The World Cup icon has shocked soccer fans by chopping off the long, flowing blonde hair — posting the process early Sunday with the caption “New season, new trim” … shocking fans around the globe.
For years, Haaland’s Viking-like hairstyle has been part of his identity as one of soccer’s biggest stars. The Norwegian striker first became famous with Red Bull Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund before joining Manchester City in 2022, where he immediately established himself as one of the world’s most prolific goalscorers.
Along the way, the blonde bun became almost as famous as his goals. It flew behind him during sprints, appeared in countless celebrations and helped turn Haaland into one of the most instantly recognizable athletes in the world.
However, Haaland has now opted for a dramatically shorter buzz cut, giving the superstar a completely different look … and fans have predictably gone wild.
There’s also a bit of history behind the locks. Haaland has previously discussed advice from Swedish legend Zlatan Ibrahimović about keeping his hair long, adding to the mythology surrounding his famous appearance.
But despite losing the Viking mane, Haaland hasn’t lost the one thing that really matters to Manchester City … his unmatched talent.
New hair, same goal machine.
