‘Husbands, listen carefully’
The Bollywood megastar warned men never to forget their wedding anniversary. He joked that failing to remember the date could lead to serious domestic chaos. Big B said, “All the husbands out there, listen carefully. The day you got married to your wife, forget every other date in the world, but never forget that one.” He noted that wives frequently ask about the date and cautioned, “If you happen to get that date wrong, be prepared for shoes, slippers, rolling pins, everything might come flying your way.”
He reiterated the importance of remembering the date, adding, “It’s a very important date. Wives have a habit of asking again and again, ‘Do you remember when we got married?’”
‘I am not a good cook’
The versatile actor also opened up about his home routine with Jaya Bachchan. He makes sure to inform his family in advance when work delays his dinner. This extra step helps him avoid unnecessary questions at home. He also mentioned his willingness to do housework when domestic help is unavailable. However, he admitted that he is not a good cook. Even so, he appreciates his wife cooking special meals for him.

Amitabh Bachchan, in July, dismissed health rumours after a blog post sparked concern about a possible hospitalisation or surgery. He clarified that his post had been misunderstood and confirmed that he was fine. Bachchan explained that his mention of an ICU stay was only a metaphor. He had used medical recovery to describe how sports champions handle defeat, specifically referencing Lionel Messi and Argentina’s World Cup loss. He was not sharing a personal medical update.
