The Night Agent Star Sets First New Thriller Series Ahead Of Netflix Show’s Ending

As the end of The Night Agent approaches, one of the show’s main stars has already lined up an exciting new role that is likely to captivate viewers.

After stellar reviews for The Night Agent season 3 rolled out and people around the world watched the hit show, they were left waiting for the series’ fourth and final season to be released. As those people continue to look forward to the show’s final chapter, it turns out that one of its stars has already taken action to confirm what is next for him.

On October 20, Deadline reported that Gabriel Basso had joined the cast of Apple TV’s Guilty Creatures as a series regular. Currently, nothing is known about the character he will portray in the show. What is clear, however, is that he will be joining some notable actors who are already attached to the project: Julia Garner, Lewis Pullman, and Maddie Hasson. Additionally, it has been announced that Mary-Louise Parker will have a recurring role.

Guilty Creatures is an upcoming series based on a true-crime book titled “Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida,” written by Mikita Brottman. It is being adapted for television by Sarah DeLappe, who previously executive produced the movie Bodies Bodies Bodies and worked on the miniseries The Regime as a consulting producer.

“Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida” focuses on a young god-fearing couple who commit murder together and the toll their violent actions take on them. A story that takes place over a period of many years, it will be interesting to see how the series will bring the tragic tale to life. After all, the series will likely seek to be especially compelling since the competition to be ranked among the best true-crime TV shows is incredibly fierce.

As the lead member of The Night Agent’s cast, Basso has extensive experience starring in a hit thriller show focused on a world fraught with conspiracies and paranoia. That seems like the perfect resume for an actor set to work on a true-crime series, given the fear and uncertainty that comes with covering up a horrible crime.

While it is exciting to know that Basso has such a compelling-sounding project lined up, The Night Agent viewers don’t need to say goodbye to Peter Sutherland yet. Instead, they can still anticipate the thriller’s final chapter since Netflix recently confirmed that The Night Agent season 4 will premiere in 2027.

The Night Agent seasons 1-3 can be streamed on Netflix.
