Allu Arjun to Headline Trivikram’s Mythological Drama ‘God of War’?

In July, producer Naga Vamsi categorically stated that he shall bankroll a mythological drama based on Lord Karthikeya. Trivikram would direct the film that stars Jr NTR. The story was earlier narrated to Allu Arjun. But the Pushpa 2 actor delayed things in conveying his decision and also approved director Atlee’s script. This prompted the director to move on and finalized Jr NTR as the protagonist. He was even spotted with the book ‘God of War’ prepping up for the role. While these developments were widely reported, the buzz about the film died down.

Buzz back on Allu Arjun-Trivikram film

But since Wednesday morning, tinseltown is buzzing with reports that the project is back in Allu Arjun’s lap. There have been reports that Allu Arjun had evinced interest in the period film and that he may approve the film after he wraps up Atlee’s film. According to sources, the film would be lavishly shot on a high scale canvas, and that an official announcement would be made soon.

At the press conference of the film Vrusshabha on Wednesday morning, Bunny Vas (film producer and close aide of Allu Arjun) who is overseeing the film’s release through Geetha Film Distributors in Telugu, was asked the same question. He replied that it’s a very sensitive situation. “All directors and heroes share a very good relationship. Sometimes films do take unexpected turns in the film industry, but we wanted to deal in a healthy and cordial way. We don’t want to invite a fan war but let’s be patient and wait till the official announcement is made by the production house.”

Allu Arjun’s next two films…

Bunny Vas added that they are clear about Allu Arjun’s next two projects after Atlee’s AA22xA6. “We are planning to announce it officially in January. The first project will start in 2026 July/August and the second project in March 2027.”
