‘I decide what to post on social media’
Addressing the media, the Premam actress stated that her social media posts are a personal choice. She explained that her content was a broader narrative about a woman’s transition rather than personal grievances. When Anupama was asked whether her tweets reflected only her side of the story and looked like she was venting it out and blaming, she replied, “I decide what to post on social media. I was not venting out. I was just talking about the transition of a woman,” Anupama shared, suggesting that others shouldn’t assume anything. The Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages star acknowledged she experienced and went through a difficult year in the past. However, Anupama is currently in a strong and positive state of mind, adding that she wishes she had reached this stage of personal clarity earlier.
Cryptic posts about finding peace
Anupama’s posts on Instagram last month sparked the speculations. Many assumed her emotional posts hinted at a breakup with her rumoured boyfriend and Bison Kaalamaadan co-star Dhruv Vikram.
“Oooops!!!!!! Sorry for the photo dump. Turns out, when you don’t have to wait for approvals, a song selection, or someone else’s caption… posting becomes a lot more fun,” the actress wrote. Adding, “Sometimes, you have to let go of the dead ends to finally find your peace. And today, peace found me.” This was another intriguing post that left many giving in to speculations.
In another post, the Tillu Square actress wrote, “From today, I choose my voice. I choose my life. No more permissions. No more fear. Just me, finding my way back to myself and falling in love with the life I almost forgot was mine. And there’s something I’ve wanted to say for a very long time…Something I wasn’t allowed to say for far too long. I love you all.”
