Azealia Banks’ New Album Is an… Hour-Long Guided Meditation Suite?

If you’re looking for a new spiritual guru, Azealia Banks has you covered. She just dropped an hour-long guided meditation suite titled Zenzealia, which she made with Swedish DJ Kornél Kovács. It’s technically her first full-length release since her 2019 Yung Rapunxel: Pt.II mixtape. Listen below.

Banks has released only a handful of one-off singles this decade, including 2021’s “Fuck Him All Night” and 2022’s “New Bottega.” She and Kovács collaborated on another guided meditation, “Sväva Demo 2,” in 2025. The track was part of a series based on the “seven healing frequencies.”

Last year, Banks weighed in on U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s connections to Jeffrey Epstein in typical Banksian fashion. In a since-deleted post on X, she claimed that sex with underage women was “really only made a social taboo in the 1990’s” and that “Teenage pregnancy only became frowned upon with the rise of Jerry Springer.”
