Mike D will release Thank You, the first album from a Beastie Boy since 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, on August 28 via Fontana. The announcement follows his comeback last month with a pair of singles, “Switch Up” and “What We Got,” and a string of low-key UK shows with his Mike D 5D band. Watch a third single, “True Colors,” below.

Mike D said in a press release, “It’s been so much fun making this music with people I love and I have grown to really appreciate in our collaboration. And I just hope it’s fun for others and not overly serious, because let’s be real, I’m releasing this music into a very strange and dark and power-fixated world that really devalues art and feelings and compassion and empathy and equality.”

    Thank You:
