December Will Be An Early Gift For Supernatural Fans

Christmas is coming early for Supernatural fans. 2025 has been another quiet year for the SPN fandom, with no news concerning fresh spinoff attempts or a potential Supernatural season 16 happening anytime soon. Dynamite Entertainment’s Supernatural comic series filled the void somewhat, while Jensen Ackles starred in Countdown, and there’s the upcoming Ackles-Padalecki-Collins reunion in The Boys season 5 to look forward to.

And yet, despite sitting quiet for five years now, the Supernatural story remains as vibrant as ever, its audience still buoyed by the many adventures of Sam and Dean and turning out at conventions to celebrate the show’s legacy.

All 15 Seasons Of Supernatural Come To Prime Video And Peacock In December

Supernatural has typically been available for US viewers to stream on Netflix, but will leave the service on December 18, 2025. By now, anyone who planned to catch up with the adventures of Sam and Dean Winchester on Netflix would hopefully have done so.

On December 1, however, all 15 seasons of Supernatural will move onto Prime Video, making the series available to a whole new subscriber base and giving the Winchester brothers a new home just in time for Christmas. The entire series will then land on Peacock on December 22. As the long winter nights set in, the opportunity for Peacock subscribers to delve into the world of Supernatural comes at the perfect time, and with so much material to get through, they’ll be kept busy deep into 2026 to help navigate the January blues.

Why Supernatural Is The Perfect Series To Binge-Watch

Despite celebrating the 20th anniversary of its premiere in 2025, Supernatural remains one of the most bingeworthy TV shows out there. Arriving at a time when 20+ episode seasons were the norm on network and cable, Supernatural promises the kind of longevity you won’t find today, and with a mostly episodic structure, the story can be picked up and put down as needed.

Supernatural isn’t one of those shows that only starts getting good in season 2 or 3 either. Most early episodes grip right from the beginning, and season 1 ranks among the Winchesters’ best across all 15 years of misadventure. Even better, Supernatural has no seasons that are outright bad. Some individual episodes could be considered stinkers, and certain seasons are stronger than others, but Supernatural is a consistently enjoyable experience from start to finish, with even the so-called weaker seasons proving very entertaining.

For existing fans, the lure of watching Supernatural from the very beginning may be too strong to resist. Returning to a time when the fresh-faced duo of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were hunting ghosts and monsters each week instead of mingling with gods feels like coming home after a long day. Meanwhile, picking out all the unresolved storylines Supernatural forgot about is a fun game to play as you work your way through all 327 episodes.
