The knife attack on Saif Ali Khan that took place at his Mumbai residence, on January 16, 2025, had already sparked concerns among the people as they were shocked by the entry of an intruder breaking down a high-level residential security. However, several years before, his sister Soha Ali Khan also shared a similar experience at her Mumbai residence. Soha recalled how an intruder had also broken into her residence during early morning, and how bravely Kunal Khemu had fought the robber while she cried in her room.
“When our house was broken into, and Kunal caught the thief many years ago, I stood in the corner and cried. It wasn’t my finest moment. I want to be kind to myself by saying that it was in the middle of the night, and I wasn’t prepared, but I definitely could’ve been more useful. I’m probably not the bravest person. My system tends to shut down when there’s something happening. I am working on it.” Soha Ali Khan told Yuvaa.
The actress further stated that both Kunal and she heard a strange voice from outside. When Kunal went to check, he saw an intruder trying to break into the house. When the intruder realized that he was caught, he tried to escape but lost his balance, and that’s when Kunal caught him, handing him over to the police. Soha also stated that most of these incidents take place early in the morning, because most people are in deep sleep during that time. She also revealed that her house was on the road and hence, quite accessible.
