    Jpegmafia is back with a bruising new single called “Babygirl,” the first offering from the rapper’s forthcoming album Experimental Rap. You can check out the song’s music video and album cover art below, alongside dates for a fall North American tour. The solo LP, his sixth, drops May 21 on AWAL.

    Experimental Rap—which an accompanying press statement refers to as an “era-defining magnum opus”—is the follow-up to Jpegmafia’s 2024 album I Lay Down My Life For You. In 2025, he dropped the deluxe edition of Lay Down along with a collaborative EP with Flume called We Live in a Society.

    Ahead of his solo trek, Jpegmafia will hit four festival dates this August: Pukkelpop, Lowlands, All Points East, and Electric Picnic.
