On Thursday morning, Tollywood superstar Jr NTR visited NTR Ghat near Hyderabad’s Hussain Sagar Lake to pay floral tributes to his grandfather, legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao (NTR), on his 103rd birth anniversary. Several members of the Nandamuri family also visited the memorial and paid their respects to the iconic leader and actor. As part of the customary tribute ceremony, the RRR star offered flowers at the memorial while enthusiastic fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor.
A towering figure in Telugu cinema and politics, NTR starred in over 300 films and continues to remain a cultural force even decades after his passing. Born in 1923, the legendary actor-politician passed away in 1996, but his legacy continues to inspire generations. Fans shared emotional videos and tributes on social media, celebrating his enduring contribution to Telugu pride and culture. Apart from Jr NTR, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chiranjeevi, and several other personalities from different walks of life paid rich tributes to the screen legend and political icon.
