Kartik Aaryan recently shared a warm birthday wish for his co-star Sreeleela, who celebrated her 25th birthday yesterday. The exchange between the two actors has caught the attention of fans and followers across social media.
Taking to Instagram, Kartik posted a candid photograph to mark the occasion. In the image, Sreeleela is seen sitting behind Kartik as he rides a bike. The duo appears to be in high spirits, smiling as they look into the bike’s rearview mirror. Keeping his message short and sweet, Kartik wrote, “Happy Birthday Sree Sree.” Sreeleela was quick to respond to the post, expressing her appreciation for the gesture by commenting, “Thank you sweetest.”
The two actors are set to share the screen for the first time in Anurag Basu’s upcoming untitled romantic drama. Produced by T-Series, this project marks Sreeleela’s official Bollywood debut. The film is reportedly slated for a release in late 2026. On the work front, Sreeleela was last seen in Ustaad Bhagat Singh. As for Kartik, he was last seen in the romantic comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, directed by Sameer Vidwans, which also starred Ananya Panday, Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff, and Tiku Talsania.
Looking ahead, Kartik is also gearing up for the release of his comedy-adventure film Naagzilla. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, known for the popular Fukrey franchise, the film will release in cinemas on February 12. The movie explores a world of shape-shifting snakes rooted in Indian folklore. It is produced by Karan Johar, Mahaveer Jain, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and Neetu M Jain.
Kartik had initially announced the film last April via an Instagram post featuring a motion poster, which showed him shirtless, gazing over a city from within a snake-filled lair. In his original announcement, he shared, “I’ve seen many human stories, now watch a story of naags. #Naagzilla – Naag lok ka Pehla Kaand… Fun phailaane Aa raha hu main, Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand… Naag Panchami par aapke nazdeeki SsSsinemas mein. 4 August 2026 ko.”
