Maliketh The Black Blade Officially Releases June 2027

Maliketh the Black Blade is one of Elden Ring‘s most intimidating and lore-important characters, serving as both a pivotal boss encounter and a key figure in the history of the Lands Between. As Queen Marika’s shadowbound beast, Maliketh was entrusted with guarding Destined Death, sealing away the Rune of Death within his blade and becoming a figure feared even by the demigods.

Players initially encounter him under the alias Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman, before eventually confronting his true form in Crumbling Farum Azula. That battle represents one of Elden Ring‘s major turning points, as defeating Maliketh unleashes Destined Death and pushes the Tarnished toward the final stages of their journey.

Despite his comparatively limited screen time, Maliketh is easily one of the game’s most memorable characters. Now, the Black Blade is officially returning in June 2027, giving longtime Elden Ring fans something new to look forward to after the recent launch of the acclaimed Tarnished Edition.

Maliketh the Black Blade is officially returning in June 2027 in a brand-new Elden Ring release, with Ashes Studio transforming the legendary boss into an enormous premium statue aimed squarely at serious collectors.

The upcoming Maliketh statue is a 1/4-scale piece that recreates the Black Blade in his imposing armored form. Standing roughly 80 cm tall, or around 31.5 inches, the statue is massive. It measures another 48.7 cm wide, giving Maliketh a substantial footprint befitting one of Elden Ring‘s most visually striking bosses. Ashes Studio is producing the statue using imported PU resin and polystone, materials commonly used for larger premium collectibles where intricate sculpting and substantial size are major selling points.

The sculpt captures Maliketh with his enormous Black Blade in hand, emphasizing the dark armor, beast-like appearance, flowing mane, and gold detailing that helped make his second-phase transformation such a memorable moment in Elden Ring. At 1/4 scale, there is also considerably more room for smaller details in his armor and equipment than would typically be possible with a conventional action figure.

Preorders officially opened on September 28, 2026, and the statue is currently listed as orderable through ORZGK and other select retailers. Collectors can either pay $1,014 in full or reserve one with a $317 deposit, with the remaining balance due later as the statue approaches shipment. Shipping is not included in ORZGK’s listed price and is calculated separately when the product is ready to be sent.

This particular Maliketh collectible may be a significant investment for your average gamer, but its size alone makes clear that this is intended to be a centerpiece rather than another figure squeezed onto a crowded shelf. ORZGK does not currently provide a specific production quantity on its listing, although the retailer notes that preorder products are generally offered in limited quantities and can close once the manufacturer’s allocation has been reached. As a result, availability could change well before release.

Ashes Studio currently estimates completion during Q2 2027, while ORZGK gives a more specific estimated release date of June 2027. As with most large resin collectibles, that remains an estimate and production schedules can potentially shift. For now, however, Elden Ring‘s Maliketh is scheduled to make his imposing return to the Lands Between (or at least collectors’ display rooms) next summer.
