[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for King of the Hill, Season 14 Episode 7, “Any Given Hill-Day.”]

This week, NFL defensive finish Micah Parsons achieved a real landing of a brand new deal, leaving the Dallas Cowboys to affix the Inexperienced Bay Packers in a commerce that makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback within the NFL. The deal adopted some turbulent negotiations and bad choices by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, provided that Parsons is a standout participant simply getting into the prime of his profession.

Just a few weeks earlier, Parsons additionally made his voice performing debut in an episode of the revived King of the Hill — enjoying himself, as an energetic member of the Cowboys group. Within the episode, Bobby (Pamela Adlon) and Hank (Mike Choose) get to attend a Cowboys coaching camp with Bobby’s new girlfriend Willow (Allegra Edwards), who has a private connection to the group — and a deep hatred for that “piece-of-shit Jerry Jones.”

Hank agrees that Jones “has no soul,” provided that the Cowboys proprietor was additionally accountable for firing “the late, nice Tom Landry.” On the finish of the episode, Willow will get caught actually taking a shit on a photograph of Jones on Jones’ desk. Later, an animated Jones finds it, saying, “It occurred once more.”

Parsons’ presence within the episode is fairly restricted: He’s the coach for the followers attending coaching camp, with only a few traces, none of that are within the scenes talked about above. It’s most unlikely that his cameo has something to do with these negotiations, nevertheless it does make “Any Given Hill-Day,” which premiered with the remainder of the season on August 4th, a captivating, if now out-of-date, popular culture artifact. Congrats to Parsons — each on his new deal, and not having to work for somebody even Hank Hill thinks is soulless.

King of the Hill is streaming now on Hulu. The NFL is… all over the place.
