After announcing their separation recently, the actors Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar started following each other again on Saturday. According to sources, the estranged couple had unfollowed each other on social media after announcing their separation. However, this sudden new development has grabbed the attention of their fans and has created quite a buzz on social media.
According to a report from INDIA TODAY, Fans had earlier noticed that Mouni and Suraj appeared to have unfollowed each other on Instagram. However, at the time of publishing, Mouni and Suraj are once again following each other. The actor has also retained her wedding pictures and older posts featuring Suraj, contrary to rumours claiming she had removed them.
Soon after they announce separation, their socials have become quite the centre of discussion. According to sources, while Suraj’s profile currently features only one image linked to Mouni, where her face is not visible, Mouni’s account still includes several pictures from their wedding and past moments together.
The couple’s older posts together have once again gone viral, with fans flooding the comments section with supportive messages for the actor.
Suraj’s account had reportedly disappeared briefly amid the divorce speculation before becoming visible again after the joint announcement regarding their separation.
On May 14, Mouni and Suraj officially confirmed their separation through a joint Instagram statement.
In the statement they wrote, “We would like to express that we have chosen to part ways and are taking the necessary time to handle matters privately and amicably.” Soon after the announcement surfaced online, the two resumed following each other on Instagram.
Bollywood actress Disha Patani has somehow also become a part of this online conversation after social media users pointed out that she no longer follows Suraj Nambiar on Instagram.
The speculation intensified on gossip pages and Reddit threads, with some users attempting to link Disha to the couple’s personal issues despite no evidence supporting the claims. Disha and Mouni have long shared a close friendship, which further fuelled online discussions and memes.
