Forza Horizon 6 welcomes the final season of its Horizon Decades festival playlist this week, bringing with it a fresh batch of challenges to complete on your way to earning the final rewards of the series. As usual, there’s a lot to complete this week, including a brand-new photo challenge called On the Rise.
On the Rise asks you to take a photo of any car from the 2010s while in the air. Luckily, this isn’t a terribly difficult task to pull off, but you’ll still want to be sure you’re not wasting any unnecessary time or money on this. We’ve got you covered with a cheap and effective way to pull it off below. Here’s how to complete the On the Rise photo challenge in Forza Horizon 6.
How To Complete On The Rise Photo Challenge In Forza Horizon 6
To complete the On the Rise photo challenge, you’ll need two things: a car from the 2010s and a way to get some air.
For the 2010s car, anything from 2010-2019 will do. But if you don’t already have a car for this in your garage and just want to complete the challenge, we recommend heading to the autoshow to buy something cheap like the Maverick X RS Turbo R ($15,200) or Veloster N ($19,000). Either of those will work fine for what you’re aiming to complete, even if they aren’t exactly the most sought-after vehicles in Forza Horizon 6.
As for getting some air, you just need to either find a ramp or make your way to a high-altitude area where you can drive off a cliff. Once you hit a ramp (or go careening off the side of a mountain, if you’re a wild one), simply press up on the D-Pad to open the photo mode, then click A to snap a photo.
As long as you’re in the air in a car from the 2010s when you snap the pic, you’ll immediately complete the On the Rise photo challenge, granting you a car horn and some points toward your seasonal total for the Horizon Decades festival playlist. There’s plenty more to do for the Spring season, though, so get back to it.
Forza Horizon 6 is available now on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a PS5 version slated for later this year.
