In a recent interview with NTV Telugu, Pranay Reddy Vanga, brother to the director of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga speaks on the release of Spirit. This Prabhas-starrer has received its official release date which is stated to be March 5, 2027. What’s to see is how the movie will fare against the upcoming Salman Khan action entertainer during the festive period of Eid. Following this release, Sandeep is expected to be taking a short break before beginning the shoot. When asked about Animal Park, he said, “Immediately after Spirit we will take a six-month break. We will then start on Animal Park.”
Ranbir Kapoor currently has a packed schedule with multiple projects lined up. One of the highly anticipated sequels he will be seen again in is Brahmastra 2. As per a Pinkvilla report, the makers are currently discussing and finalizing the script. He is also set to wrap up the shooting for Ramayana 2 by January 2027 before beginning Brahmastra 2 alongside his co-star and wife Alia Bhatt.
Both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will also be seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, which will also see a release date somewhere early 2027. With such a large scale and diverse set of high-profile projects, it is not surprising to see a six-month gap between the Vanga Brother’s projects.
Animal Park is touted be a more intense, darker, and grander sequel to Animal. With the numbers raked in by Animal, Vanga planned to expand further on the universe with sequels. When asked about Animal Park, he stated, “There will be more animals in the film because Aziz Haque is another animal. Keeping that in mind, it will be a war between the two brothers, so I thought ‘Animal Park’ will be the right title.”
